Objectives
The objective of the programme was to attempt a common interpretation of the provisions of the international Treaty for Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context. For this purpose two teams of experts from Greece and Bulgaria were formed to conduct a comparative study of the relevant legislation and administrative practice of the two countries. The output has taken the form of concrete proposals to the respective administrative services for the proper implementation of the Treaty.
