CARDS 2004, TWINNING LIGHT PROJECT – BA 04.03/01.01

Objectives
The objective of this project is to provide focused and relevant expertise to the Ministry of Justice in the preparation and improvement of its capacities to support the EU integration process. The project forms part of a broader concept of reforming Public Administration so that the Ministry is capable of performing its functions in line with BiH’s commitment to accession to the European Union. 

The specific objectives of the project consist in:

• Clarifying the understanding of the responsibilities of the Ministry in relation to the Stabilisation and Association Process (SAP) and European Integration Process
• Increasing and improving the administrative capacity of the Ministry to undertake European Integration tasks
• Improving the internal organization of the Ministry in order to deal effectively with European Integration tasks and responsibilities within the Ministry
• Assisting the Ministry in providing efficient and timely inputs into the European Integration process, particularly through cooperation with the Directorate for European Integration
