Objectives
The aim of the study is to present the current situation in Greece regard-ing programmes to facilitate the assisted return of inter alia asylum appli-cants whose claims have failed or migrants with other status who have decided to return home. Specifically the study includes an overview of programmes and strategies for Assisted Return; analysis of strategies on how Assisted Return is promoted and barriers to return are overcome, as well as ways and experiences about fostering the sustainability of As-sisted Return; analysis of incentives and motivations to participate in As-sisted Return and Re-integration programmes; a review of evaluation of Assisted Return programmes and their effectiveness/sustainability.
