Objectives
The FRA Bulletins offer a snapshot overview on developments in the EU, which are relevant to FRA’s mandate and work. It’s purpose is to provide factual up-to-date and accurate information for policy-makers as well as for experts from non-governmental organizations (NGO’s), think tanks and intergovernmental organizations (IGO’s) on the following areas: a) discrimination based on sex, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation and against persons belonging to minorities and any combination of these grounds (multiple discrimination) b) compensation of victims, c) the rights of the child, including the protection of children, d) asylum, immigration and integration of migrants, e) visa and border control, f) participation of the citizens of the Union in the Union’s democratic functioning, g) information society and, in particular, respect for private life and protection of personal data and h) access to efficient and independent justice.
