Objectives
This project concerned the transfer of institutional and technical know-how in the field of environmental protection. It aimed at drafting proposals for legislative action and at elaborating scientific mechanisms, in order to deal with cross-border environmental problems and to use natural resources in a sustainable manner especially with regard to the harmonisation of Bulgarian environmental legislation with EU environmental law. The project involved the active cooperation of Bulgarian experts, state functionaries, and government officials. 

Implementing Institutions
The Centre for European Constitutional Law is responsible for the scientific co-ordination of the Project.
