Online Round Table, as part of the EPHESUS project

On September 17, 2025, the second online transnational round table will take place as part of the European EPHESUS project – Promoting fundamental rights in (post) pandemic times in cross-border proceedings, which aims to ensure the optimal and proportionate use of the European Arrest Warrant (EAW) institution.

The meeting, organized by the Center for European Constitutional Law – Tsatsos Foundation, will be held in English and will focus on the topic: Access to justice for vulnerable groups in cross-border proceedings.

Participants will include judicial officers and lawyers from the project’s partner countries (Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal, Romania) as well as other EU Member States.

Among the distinguished speakers, we will have the honor of hosting, as representatives of the criminal justice sector for Greece:

•    Ms. Skafida, Deputy Prosecutor of the Court of Appeal of Piraeus

•    Ms. Daliani, Lawyer of Athens
