When we talk about child trafficking, what do we really mean?

As part of SafeBorders, we have prepared a mini guide to basic definitions, because knowing the terminology helps us understand the reality of the problem and better protect children.

Child trafficking has one purpose: exploitation — when someone uses children or adolescents for their own benefit (financial, sexual, labor, etc.).
