{"id":7463,"date":"2020-04-22T10:17:30","date_gmt":"2020-04-22T07:17:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cecl.gr\/?p=7463"},"modified":"2025-06-20T16:51:24","modified_gmt":"2025-06-20T13:51:24","slug":"fra-traineeship-roma-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cecl.gr\/en\/news\/2020\/04\/22\/fra-traineeship-roma-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Applications for the Roma Traineeship Programme 2020-2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br>\n<!--StartFragment--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Open<br>TRAI-ROMA-2020<br>Traineeship <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This traineeship scheme is addressed mainly to recent \nuniversity graduates of Romani background, without excluding those who &#8211;\n in the framework of lifelong learning &#8211; are at the beginning of a new \nprofessional career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Open until 08\/05\/2020 13:00  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Opening date: 08\/04\/2020 13:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This <strong>traineeship scheme<\/strong> is offered to candidates of Romani background who <strong>have completed either a post-secondary education attested by a diploma<\/strong> (e.g. bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent) <strong>or a secondary education attested by a diploma and professional experience of minimum two years<\/strong> relevant to the work of the unit they apply for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fra.europa.eu\/en\/vacancy\/2020\/call-applications-roma-traineeship-programme-2020-2021#roma\">Roma<sup>1<\/sup><\/a>\n trainees are selected from nationals of the Member States of the \nEuropean Union (27) and EU candidate countries (Albania, North \nMacedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Turkey) and potential candidate \ncountries (Bosnia and Herzegovina and <a href=\"https:\/\/fra.europa.eu\/en\/vacancy\/2020\/call-applications-roma-traineeship-programme-2020-2021#kosovo-note\">Kosovo<\/a><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/fra.europa.eu\/en\/vacancy\/2020\/call-applications-roma-traineeship-programme-2020-2021#kosovo-note\">2<\/a><\/sup>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trainees&nbsp;are requested to have a very good knowledge of English and \nanother EU language. This document should be attached to the <strong>Online Application Form<\/strong>;<\/li><li>Complete the\n<ul><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fra.europa.eu\/surveys\/index.php\/948765?lang=en\">FRA online application form<\/a><\/strong><br>\n\t\t\t\t&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\t\tand indicate the unit of your choice <strong>clearly mentioning the interests for this choice and your motivation to apply<\/strong>. Please note you are <strong>not requested to upload a Motivation Letter.<\/strong>&nbsp;You\n should just fill in the field on your motivation to apply for the \nparticular unit. Within this unit, please specify also the area(s) you \nare interested in.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You can indicate only one unit. <strong>Candidates applying for more than one unit will be automatically rejected.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria or are \nincorrectly submitted will be rejected. The provision of information requested in the \napplication form and the supporting documents is obligatory. Incomplete \napplications will be excluded from the selection. The personal data in \nquestion is collected by the FRA for the sole purpose of the selection \nof trainees. Travellers\u201d is used at the Council of Europe \nto encompass the wide diversity of the groups covered by the work of the\n Council of Europe in this field: on the one hand a) Roma, Sinti\/Manush,\n Cal\u00e9, Kaale, Romanichals, Boyash\/Rudari; b) Balkan Egyptians (Egyptians\n and Ashkali); c) Eastern groups (Dom, Lom and Abdal); and, on the other\n hand, groups such as Travellers, Yenish, and the populations designated\n under the administrative term \u201cGens du voyage\u201d, as well as persons who \nidentify themselves as Gypsies.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><sup><a>2<\/a><\/sup>This \ndesignation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line \nwith UNSCR 1244 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo Declaration of
