The project\u2019s activities will be co-funded by the European Union\u2019s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014-2020).<\/p>\n<p>The project aims to reinforce the capacity of (a) Greek women politicians and candidates for public office and (b) media stakeholders (journalists, media studies students, bloggers) to recognize, address and prevent gender discrimination in public debates. To achieve this goal the following actions will be implemented:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educational modules and materials for media stakeholders will be prepared<\/li>\n<li>A needs assessment for women politicians and candidates will be conducted<\/li>\n<li>8 workshops targeting media stakeholders and students, as well as women politicians and candidates will be organised<\/li>\n<li>Practical guides for media stakeholders and students, and women politicians and candidates will be drafted, which will include practical advice, case stories, language examples and proposed solutions<\/li>\n<li>Results and outcomes will be disseminated through the project\u2019s website, press releases, and a national TV spot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Approximately 120 media stakeholders and students, and 100 women politicians and candidates are expected to benefit from the project\u2019s actions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for European
