The Practice of Pre-Trial Detention Decision-Making in the EU,\u201d and will launch the publication of our regional report based on data from 10 EU Member States.\u00a0The event, hosted by MEP Birgit Sippel, will be held on <strong>26 May, 9:00-11:00 am<\/strong> in the European Parliament at the Altiero Spinelli Building, AIE-1.<\/span><\/p>  <!--more-->  <p><span style=\"font-size: 12.16px; line-height: 1.3em;\">Discussions will feature video case studies and first-hand accounts from researchers to delve into the urgent problem of excessive reliance on PTD in the EU and its impact on mutual recognition and justice, and will explore possible regional responses.
