{"id":20074,"date":"2026-04-29T12:06:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T09:06:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cecl.gr\/?p=20074"},"modified":"2026-04-29T13:35:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T10:35:36","slug":"compute-completion-of-the-transnational-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cecl.gr\/en\/category-projects\/2026\/04\/29\/compute-completion-of-the-transnational-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"CompEUte: completion of the Transnational Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We w\u03bfuld like to inform you of the successful completion of the Transnational Conference entitled <strong><em>\u201cEU Competition Law in the Digital Era: Challenges and Recent Developments,\u201d <\/em><\/strong>held in Athens, Greece on 27 April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Conference was organised by the Centre for European Constitutional Law \u2013 Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation and constituted the final event of the European co-funded project <strong><em>\u201cCompEUte \u2013 Multidisciplinary Judicial Training for the Digital Single Market,\u201d<\/em><\/strong> implemented during the period 2024\u20132026 by the Tsatsos Foundation, in cooperation with the National School of the Judiciary (ESDI) and the Hellenic Competition Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Conference brought together members of the judiciary, representatives of academia and officials from European institutions, and addressed key issues relating to the application of competition law in the context of the evolving digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the proceedings, current challenges relating to digital markets were examined, together with recent developments in case law, as well as issues concerning market definition and the standard of proof. Attention was devoted to the panel discussion, which enabled an exchange of views on the challenges encountered by judicial and administrative authorities in the enforcement of EU competition law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sincere appreciation is expressed to all speakers and participants, for their contribution to the Conference.
