Objectives<\/em>
The overall project objective is to promote the integration of Kyrgyz Republic into the world economy by stimulating the economic, political and social development of Kyrgyzstan in line with the priorities and norms set out in the EU\u2013Kyrgyz Republic Partnership and Co-operation Agreement. The specific objectives of the project are\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

a) to enhance the capacity of the Kyrgyz administration to identify priority areas for implementation of the trade, economic and commercial provisions of the PCA;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

b) to continue legislative and administrative reform, in line with the PCA provisions;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

c) to strengthen the country\u2019s capacities in drafting laws and implementing regulations;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

d) to continue the country\u2019s foreign investment climate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The technical assistance provided by means of the project focuses on the following components:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A) Legal Approximation,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

B) Policy Advice \u2013 Institution Building,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

C) Monitoring and Reporting,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

D) Participation of Civil Society to the Policy debate,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

E) Publications,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

F) Library and Documentation Facilit.<\/span><\/p>\n
